The school’s philosophy of education is an integration of the different ideologies:

1. Existentialism

We believe that each pupil is unique --- has a unique way of dealing with oneself, learning and thinking about what and how he learns, and interacting with teachers and classmates. The CHILD is unique --- his character and worth as an individual is given utmost importance in the learning process.

2. Progressivism

We believe that each pupil should be recognized for his own abilities, interests, capabilities, needs, and intelligence. Every learning situation inside and outside the classroom should be child-centered --- the child should be put above anything else. He is the most important element in the learning process.

3. Constructivism

“Learning by Doing” --- this is the essence of true education. We believe that the child learns best when he personally constructs his own knowledge.

To the child, learning becomes meaningful when he is an active PARTICIPANT and not just a passive listener or receptor of knowledge. In this approach, teachers only serve as facilitators of the learning process.

4. Social Reconstructionism

Education does not stop in the four corners of the classroom. We believe that Education is a tool --- a tool which we can use to improve human condition and the society in general. With the help of education, we can reconstruct our society to become better for each citizen.
